She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldrich Lahti and Hulda Lahti (Hentila); her husband Delano "Hank" Perala; her son Troy Dunn; her siblings, DeLaine Blomberg (Melvin), Dixie Maunumaki (Billy) and Randy Lahti; and her brothers-in-law, Donnie Perala (Ruthie), Duane Perala (LaVonne Schafer) and Jerry Salo.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Dunn (Brenda) of Ottertail and Lonnie Perala (Sharon) of New York Mills; her grandchildren, Taylor Perala, Evan Perala, Derek Dunn, Danielle Janda and Ashley Ogaja; her great grandchildren, Alexa, Amber Dunn, Aiden Janda, Malik and Kiana Ojaja; her sisters, DeDe Windel (Denny) of New York Mills and Diane Nelson (LeRoy) of New York Mills; and her sister-in-law Joani Salo of New York Mills. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
