He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Fondrick and Doris Fondrick (Sundgren). He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Kyle Fondrick, Kurt Fondrick (Julie) and Kimberly Jo Fondrick; his grandchildren, Andy Fondrick (Kelsey), Isaac Fondrick, Alex Fondrick, Sara Simon (Cully) and Angie Tardy; his great grandchildren, Emma, Paige, Carter and Liam; his sister Diane Fondrick; his nieces, Lisa (Mike) and Carmen; and his nephew Chris (Sherri).

In lieu of flowers and for Don's love of dogs, especially Labrador Retrievers that he trained and hunted with, memorials are preferred to Patriot Assistance Dogs.
