He is survived by: his wife Carol Swisher; his son Alex Rethemeier (Jean) of Perham; his grandchildren, Nevaeh and Samantha; his daughters, Suzanne Lundsten (Adam) of Menahga and Christina Schmitz (Luke); his grandchildren, Caleb, Mallory and Hannah; his pet Lady; his siblings, Howard Rethemeier (Pati), Louise Bakke (Dan) and Linda Elstad; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Olson and Louise Rethemeier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
