He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Zepper and Clara Zepper (Quittschreiber); his wife Virginia Baumgart; his son-in-law Earl Truitt; and his siblings-in-law, Alice Baumgart, Mildred Baumgart, Mae Schultz, Jeanette Schwarzrock, Elmer Lubitz and Elmer Schultz.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Truitt, Gene Zepper (Arlys), Gail Sundberg (Doug) and Tim Zepper (Cary); his grandchildren, Jason Truitt (Rachel), Melissa Cox (Casey), Amber Zepper (Larissa), Nicole Hanson (Carleton), Patrick Sundberg (Sara), Matthew Sundberg (Devon) and Rhett Zepper (Missy); his sister Bernice Lubitz; and his brother-in-law Dennis Schwarzrock.
