It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Garten (Pequot Lakes, Minnesota), born in Anoka, Minnesota, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence "Larry" Garten and Cecil Garten. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Mary Jo Bade of Baxter, Jennifer Blume of Staples and Shawn Lesher of Backus; and his siblings, Thomas Garten and Judith Lawrence.
