He was predeceased by: his mothers, Pearl Cowan and Anna Jane Cowan (Sleeth); his siblings, Helen, Elna, Bobby and Donnie Cowan; and his great grandchildren, Willow and Ivory Clews.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cowan (Mills); his children, Susan Schnoor (Hubert), Bobbie Drake (Gary), Melinda White (Darren), Jenny Schnoor (Warren) and Jessica Rarick (Jake); and his siblings, Doris Olson, Joann Richards, Jerry Cowan (Linda) and Joyce Campbell (Larry). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
