He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meyer and Rose Meyer; his wife Sally; and his sisters, Marilyn Herman (Paul) and Norma Ayres (John).
He is survived by: his sister Marlys McDowell (Carroll); his children, Monica McMillan (Laura Thompson), Byron Meyer (Judy) and Lisa Meyer (Ashworth Payne Jr); and his grandson Chance Meyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Tunnels to Towers or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
