She was predeceased by: her husband Everett Johnson; her parents, James Fraction and Opal Fraction; and her brothers, Jimmy Fraction, Bill Fraction, Carl Fraction (Celeste) and Michael Nerburn.

She is survived by: her siblings, Marilyn Robinson and Ronald Fraction (Patricia); her sisters-in-law, Ellen Johnson, Anna McClinton, Gertrude Foster and Gwen Fraction; her children, Valarie Johnson McCullar, Michael Johnson (Laurie), Jennifer Whitlock (Kevin), Bruce Johnson (Renee) and Gregory Johnson (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan, Jaraux (Willie), Sean (Kelly), Allysia (Nathan), Tony (Abby), Aurora (Kyle), Kevon, Devin, Maya, Breanna, Connor, Nicholas and Brylea; and her great grandchildren, Boston, Kayli, Tyrus, Trey, Jalen, Marissa, Jordan, Alaya, Jazzaeya, Austin, Mahlia, Shéa, Etta and Ermias. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
