With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David H. Sufka in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Sufka and Alma R. Sufka (Weisz); his brother James; and his siblings-in-law, Katharine Sufka and Marcel Knapek.

He is survived by: his son Dr. Michael David (Jennifer Rice) of Crosslake; his granddaughters, Dr. Susan Sufka Kaplan of Philadelphia, PA., Adah and Dahlia Kaplan; his wife JoAnn; his daughter Susan of Philadelphia, PA; and his sisters, Rosemary Knapek and Marjorie Garmen (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home (1010 2nd St N, St Cloud, MN 56303). A Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church. The military honors was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
