He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Karl August and Erna Peukert (Proehl); his wife Diane of Pequot Lakes, MN; his daughter Kathryn Larson (Phil) of Hibbing, MN; his grandsons, Cris and Harri; his son Christopher Peukert (Michele) of Jordan, MN; and his sisters, Carla Sudenga of Madison, SD and Monica Weatherford of Florence, SD. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and their families and many cousins.
