He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alvin and Johanna Akerson (Plowman). He is survived by: his wife Vicky Ennenga; his children, Brent Akerson (Melissa) of Pennock, Matthew Akerson (Jennifer) of Pennock, Bethany Olson (Jeremy) of Alexandria and Rebecca Akerson of Woodbury; and his sisters, Carol Cata of Mesa, AZ and Marie Engwall (Ardell) of Willmar. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
