He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. Olson and Martha Olson (Ordahl); his wife Ardith Anne Pederson; and his siblings, Gertrude, Maynard, Adeline, Margaret, Rudolph, Clifford and John Albert "Jackie".
He is survived by: his children, Karen Maier of Emerado, ND, James Olson (Barb) of Watertown, SD, Dale Olson (Darla), Susan Vehar of Evanston, WY and Julie Kalsnes (Ken). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Ray's honor to VFW Post 2793 for disabled veterans.
