He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil N. Ellingson and Nita Ellingson (Smith); his wife Arlis Ellingson; his brothers, Donald Ellingson (Marilyn) and Leo Ellingson (Martha); and his brother-in-law Gary Olson.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Ellingson (Ronda) of Pelican Rapids; his sister Shirley Huseby Ralston of Pelican Rapids; and his sister-in-law Mary Olson of Pelican Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.
