It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Beverly Ballard of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan Brede and Christine Selma Rossum (Berg); her husband Ralph Ballard; her son Steve; and her siblings, Cleo Rossum, Cyrus Rossum and Delores Gammelgaard.
She is survived by: her sons, Everett (Deb) of Pelican Rapids and Kevin (Janna) of Pelican Rapids; her grandchildren, Terra From (James), Crystal May (Ron Van Heuveln), Brady Ballard (Angie), Gary Berg (Heather), Alexis Ballard (Ron Wood), Christopher Ballard, Zachary Ballard (Lilly), Emma Ballard, Jennessa Ballard and Noah Ballard; and her sisters, Betty Boen and Ellen Haugrud. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
