It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Markey of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lloyd and Donna Jean Markey (Lorenze); his son Robbie Boutilier; and his brother Michael Markey (Julie). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Markey of Pelican Rapids, MN; his children, Crystal Plath (Larry) of Barnesville, MN, Tony Markey (Bobbie Jo) of Barnesville, MN, Benjamin Markey (Chelsea) of Moorhead, Brandon Markey of Pelican Rapids, Christine Sickels (Nate) of Fargo, ND, Cassie Olson of Valley City, ND, Nathan Boutilier of Alexandria, MN, Shawn Boutilier of Moorhead, MN, Joell Drew (Trey) of Moorhead, MN and Mike Kern (Steffanie); his grandchildren, Jalen Plath, Lilly Markey, Abigail Markey, Jayden Markey, Jaxon Markey, Cassie Lloyd, Masyn Olson, Ashtyn Olson, Joey Miller, Hailey Ihre, Averee Boutilier, Ashely Hasimovic, Daniel Drew, Ashlynn Drew and Jonathon Drew; and his siblings, William (Glenda) and Cindy Eichler (David) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several friends.
