He was predeceased by: his parents, Tov Boen (Thor) and Inge Mabel Boen (Maasjo); his sisters, Fayma Boen and Edith Huber; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Huber, Gordon Huber, David Huber, Mary Zimmerman and Debi Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Rossum; his children, Michael Boen (Patti), Linda Jenson (Jerome) and Lynette Boen; his grandchildren, Andrew Boen, Kristine Parker (Jerad), Alissa Houglum (Jeff), Katie Boen and Brittney Hockersmith; his great grandchild Carlee Jo Parker; and his sister Phyllis Dyer.
