With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evangeline Bakken of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ingard; her daughter Diane Kay; and her brother Dennis. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Payton (Michael) of Charlotte, NC, Laurie Buck (Curt) of Pelican Rapids, Wayne Bakken (Pam) of Pelican Rapids, Craig Bakken (Karen) of Pelican Rapids and Kevin Bakken (Lori) of Pelican Rapids; her grandchildren, Cindy Payton, Brian Payton (Megan), Julie Payton, Trevor Bakken, Jenna Clark (Brian), Melissa Bakken, Emily Bakken, Brandon Bakken (Dorothy), Ryan Bakken, Tyler Bakken, Josh Bakken, Sam Buck (Chelsey) and Andrew Buck; her great grandchildren, Carter, Harper Payton and Cooper Clark; and her sister Kathryn Huseby of Moorhead, MN. She is also survived by sister-in-law Doris Ohe; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Grove Lake Lutheran Church, Grove Lake Cemetery, Knute Nelson Hospice or donor's choice.
