It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Milford Hovland (Pelican Rapids, Minnesota), who passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hovland and Alma Hovland (Haga); his wife Darlene; and his siblings, Leonard, LeRoy Hovland, Myrtle, Eunice, Viola, Ethel and Alice.
He is survived by: his sons, Everett Hovland (Fergus Falls), Gary Hovland (Kathy) and Wayne Hovland (Dar); his grandchildren, Vicki Moore (Jon), Brian Hovland (Kris), Torrey Hovland (Anne), Tracey Hovland, Ben Hovland (Katrina) and Nic Hovland (Jocelyn); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Hovland, Janice Alm (Lloyd), Arlys Engen, Sharon Cook, JoAnn Emerson (Bruce) and Orland Stephenson (Nettie). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
