She was predeceased by: her siblings, LuVerne Mangin (Bill), Helen Solinger (Eugene), Kenneth Backstrom (Olive), Raymond Backstrom and Howard Backstrom.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Kubitz; her children, Deanna Iwen (Jeff) of Glyndon and Evan Kubitz (Rena) of Pelican Rapids; her granddaughters, Kayleigh Kubitz of Moorhead, Cassidy Kubitz (Christopher Luistro) of West Fargo and Kirsten Schleeter (Gene) of West Fargo; and her pets, Mouse and Giselle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Lutheran Church (38953 Co Hwy 3, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Central Lutheran Cemetery (38953 Co Hwy 3, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572).
