He was predeceased by: his parents, Edvin Johnson and Borgil Johnson (Dillerud); his daughter Vicki Pieske; his siblings, Arnold Johnson, Marion Prim (Frank), Jeanette Tollerud (Irvin), Ervin Johnson (Eileen) and John Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, Manley Tollerud and Irvin Tollerud.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Steven Johnson (Jodie) of Boring, OR, Brenda Martinson (Gregg Gietzen) of West Fargo, ND and Brian Johnson (Judy) of Pelican Rapids, MN; his son-in-law Dennis Pieske of Willmar, MN; his grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson (Lisa), Staci Butler (Matt), Amanda Johnson (Justin Frahm), Tascha Butler (Brock), Nathan Pieske (Stephanie), Casey Johnson, Zachary Strand (Elizabeth), Jacob Johnson (Jena Smedshammer), Mitchell Johnson (Amy) and Christa Johnson (Mike Joyce); his sisters, Elenora Tollerud of Apple Valley, MN and Betty Engelstad of Milwaukie, OR; and his sister-in-law Virgie Brandt of Moorhead, MN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
