He was predeceased by: his parents, Sevander Johnson and Marian Johnson; his siblings, Goldie, Delores and Donald; and his daughter-in-law Jean Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Arlys Scheer of New York Mills; his son Bruce Johnson (Maureen); his grandchildren, Angie Nelson (Jamie), Anna Nelson (Mike) and Dan Johnson (Mandie); his great grandchildren, Kaitlin Hegseth (Bob), Caleb Nelson, Cassandra Nelson, Alexis, Brenden, Abigail, Ben Nolan, Zoey, William, Wyatt and Maisy Johnson; and his sister Gloria Krob (Gerald). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
