David Matson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Matson (Pelican Rapids, Minnesota), who passed away on December 21, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Linnea (Youngquist) and Victor Carl Matson; and his wife Astri G. Erickson of Fergus Falls, MN. He is survived by: his sister Beverly Gustafson (Don); his sons, Carl (Ann Nagle) of Watertown, WI and John (Jenn) of Germantown, WI; his granddaughter Grace of Watertown, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Marita Erickson (Lee) and Kathy Erickson (Arland). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorials or donations be made to the Faith Lutheran Church Organ Fund, the C.F. and Leona Erickson Music Scholarship Fund at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls), the Alzheimers Association, or Pelican Valley Senior Living.
