He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Hatle and Myrtle Hatle (Johanson); and his brother David Hatle. He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. VanCampen; the mother of his children Barbara M.; his children, Toni Hoffman of Austin, MN, Eric Hatle and Curtis Hatle Jr. (Andrea); his foster sons, Thanh Nguyen and San Nguyen; his grandchildren, Timothy, Amanda Hoffman, Brooke (Logen), Morgan, Alix Hatle, Chase and Brock Hatle; his great grandchild Lakota; his siblings, Gloria Mallory (Robert) and Mike Hatle (Barb); his sister-in-law Connie Hatle; and also Melissa Hatle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
