With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Timmer (Pease, Minnesota), who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Van and Marie Van (Nyenhuis) of Riet; her husband Lawrence Timmer; her children, Jacquelyn Van Ginkel and Larry; her sisters, Joyce Toonstra and Leona Hubers; and her brothers-in-law, Rev. Martin Toonstra and Dale Hubers.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Timmer (Sally) of Milaca, Curt Timmer (Nancy) of Milaca, Kevin (Karen) of Sioux Center and Janelle Volkers (Mark) of Orange City, Iowa; and her siblings, Judy Corwin (Chuck) of Caledonia, Michigan and Harry Van (Ruth) of Riet. She is also survived by 13 loving grandchildren; and 26 wonderful great-grandchildren.
