She is survived by: her mother Gail Skindelien (Dengerud) of Brooten; her former husband Jack Swanson; her husband Peter Hopfer; her children, Maggie Grothe (Justin) of Kerkhoven, Bryon Swanson of Kandiyohi, Abigail Hopfer of Hermantown, Grace Hopfer of Spirit Lake, IA, Samuel Hopfer of Lake Henry and Anna Hopfer of Lake Henry; her grandchildren, Devon, Addison, Makenna and Caleb; her brothers, Charles Skindelien (Shelia) of Currie and Daryl Skindelien (Barb) of Lake Benton; her stepsiblings, Layne Otteson (Danyel) of Oak Grove, Rhonda Otteson of Willmar, Chad Otteson (Sarah) of Brooten and Kari Otteson of Minneapolis; and her father-in-law Arthur Hopfer (Jean). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
