Ruth Krantz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Krantz of Paynesville, Minnesota, born in Detroit, Michigan. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Vedder and Ruth Vedder (Herstrom); her husband Jerome "Smokey" Krantz; her son Gary; and her brother-in-law Robert Hutter.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Krantz (Wendi) of Elk River and Kelly Johnson of Paynesville; her grandchildren, Rick Krantz (Anne), Sean Krantz (Adam Parsons), Cassandra Johnson (Luis Nunez) and Kylie Young (Jake); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Kolten, Easton, Adrian, Santana and Ximena; and her siblings, Barbara Hutter of Michigan, Robert Vedder (Elaine) of Michigan and Larry Vedder (Jean) of Michigan. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Rose Center in Paynesville.
