She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Gertrude Jaeger, Jr. (Hopfer); and her siblings, Viola Illies, Gerald Jaeger and Michael Urban.

She is survived by: her husband Richard J. Bertram; her children, Bernice Monson of Atwater, Reuben (Cindy) of Spring Hill and Robert (Jane) of Spring Hill; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Eric, Adam, Shawn, Kyle and Diana. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
