He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Schultz and Edna Liestman Schultz; his brother Ronald Schultz; his nephews, Jonathan Lange and Jeff Cropp; and also Beverly Schultz.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Ann Rud; his sister Karen Tordsen (Bob); and his mothers-in-law, Diane Schultz (late Ronald), Betty Cropp (Merle) and Eleanor Rud (late Robert).

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held.
