He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Fasen and Eleanor Fasen (Crever); and his brothers, Art, Leo and Jerome Fasen.

He is survived by: his wife Bunny; his sons, Kurt Fasen (Louise) of Monticello and Neil Fasen (Sarah) of Minneapolis; and his siblings, Doreen Knopik and Alvin Fasen. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
