He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Walberg and Ruby Walberg (Anderson); his wife Joan DeMorrett; and his brothers, Roger and Dennis Walberg.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Hoekstra (Barry) of Paynesville; his grandchildren, Casandra Nawrocki (Eddie) of Highland, Corbin Hoekstra (Austin Dufner) of Cold Spring and Tyler Hoeksta (Emily Utecht) of Sauk Rapids; his great grandchildren, Addison and Clark Nawrocki; his brother Howard (Cheri) of Annandale; and his sister-in-law Annette Walberg.
