With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Joan Ashburn of Paynesville, Minnesota, who passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Hack" Simmonds and Margaret Simmonds (Bouta); her son Michael Ashburn; and her siblings, Mary "Dot" Lee, Robert Simmonds, Frank Simmonds and Patricia Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Ashburn; and her children, Kathryn Dingmann (Mark) of Paynesville, Jon Ashburn (Lisa) of Sunburg, Dan Ashburn (Katie) of Dayton and Tom Ashburn of Minneapolis.
Memorials are preferred to CentraCare Hospice.
