It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Thomsen (Paynesville, Minnesota), born in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, who passed away on September 2, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Verna; and his siblings, Paul, Alvin, Arnold, Herman, Theodore, Lucille, Marie and Elmer.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Juliann) of Eden Prairie, Douglas (Connie) of St. Cloud and Terry (Debra) of Sunburg; his grandchildren, Leah Dasovich (Tom), Dan, JoAnna Thomsen, Andrew, Stephanie Hemmesch (Mike) and Stacy Utsch (Patrick); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Evelyn, Eleanor, Lillian, Peyton, Chloe, Easton, Gannon, Madelyn, Ian, Maclaine and Leroy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers.
