He is survived by: his wife Julie Nieters; his children, April (Rabbie), Joe Jr., Barbara (James), Elisabeth (Matt), Ruth (Marcus) and Brenda (Maggie); and his grandchildren, Oliver, Sydney (April), Lily, Tommy (Joe Jr.), Julie, Emma Joseph (Barbara), Marcus, Savannah, Louis (Ruth), Phineas and Stella (Brenda). He is also survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
