He was predeceased by: his parents, Othmar Brick and Ella Brick (Lenz); his siblings, Eugene (Edna), Harold, Ralph, Ramona Hylla (Alex), Marilyn Golembeski (Marcel), Marjorie Barnum and Ruth Trageser; his siblings-in-law, Tom Hein and Shirley Barnum; and his niece Sherri Rohlf.
He is survived by: his former wife Suzanne Hein; his children, Kathryn and James; his wife Sue; his children, Maria Simon (David) of Rockville, Katie Hermel (Brady) of Onamia, Jamey Brick (Angie) of Lake Henry and Andrew Brick (Meg) of Paynesville; his grandchildren, Owen, Sam, Vanessa, Ella, Maggie, Paige and William; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Brick (Pat Hein), Dale Barnum and John Hein; and his close friends, Charles Spanier and Donnie Lieser. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives.
A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the St. Margaret's Catholic Church. Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In-lieu-of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Margaret's Church in Lake Henry, Poor Claires Monastery in Sauk Rapids, or the Lake Henry Fire Department.
