He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Beckstrand and Genevieve Beckstrand (Manning); his stepmother Lois; his former wife Sondra Kay Fletcher; and his brother John.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Wade and Kelly; his wife Denise Bogar; his children, Cahlean Klenke (Kris Johnson), Allyson Pattain (Ashley), Heather Thyen (Russ) and John James Beckstrand; and his siblings, Phil Beckstrand (Bev), Sara Remondi (Ben), Naomi Zyonse (Bob), Sue Berg (Mortie), Jennifer Schwartz (Gerald), Patty Herzberg (Neil), Richard Barnes (Loriee), Gary Barnes and Bobby Barnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
