He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Buermann and Viola Buermann (Doll); and his brother Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gottwald; his children, Annie Mackedanz (Keith) of Fridley, Beth Young (Kevin) of Avon and Nick Buermann (Amy) of Zimmerman; and his siblings, Dennis (Sharon) of Detroit Lakes, Vern (Luann) of Paynesville, Gary (Janice) of Sauk Rapids, Judy Gottwald (Stephen) of Paynesville, Dale (Yukiho) of San Diego, CA, LeRoy (Lynda) of Federal Way, WA, Cedric (Lois) of Henning and Kevin (Julie) of Lakeville. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
