He is survived by: his spouse Joyce Elfering; his children, Steven (Nancy) of Hackensack, Kevin (Paula Maus) of Hackensack, Sheila Spanier (Jeff) of Cambridge, Patrick (Kelly) of Becker, Jody Kotschevar (Mike) of Paynesville, Rodney (Jessica) of Cannon Falls, Jennifer Hoppe of Minneapolis and Maria Croatt (Chris) of Madison, MN; his grandchildren, Melissa Grosberg (Andy), Chala, Cassandra, Chase Hoppe, Michael (Denesa), Ryan (Jenny), Brad Spanier (Mandi), Josh, Megan, Amanda Hoppe, Krista Listul (Kelvin) of Eric Kotschevar, James Hall, Jenna and Jacob Croatt; his siblings, Ray, Tom (Marion), Jack, Betsy Keep and Louise Mermod; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Hoppe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
