He was predeceased by: his parents, John Klimek and Anna Klimek (Loeffler); his wife Loretta; his siblings, George, Aloysius "Ollie", Alfred, Carl, Norbert, Mary Arndt and Cordelia Christian; and his granddaughter Melanie Rotz Hartman.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Rotz (Wayne) of Clitherall, Patricia Klimek (Jared Perala) of Deer Creek, Gloria Bjerketvedt (Teddy) of Parkers Prairie, Kenny Klimek of Urbank and Kelley Klimek (Sheila) of Hudson, Wisconsin; his siblings, Clement Klimek (Beatrice) of Cold Spring and Bernadine Busch of Garfield; and his grandchildren, Derek Rotz (Rhian), Cory Thoennes (Amor), Nick Kamphake, John Ross Kamphake (Stephanie Reprigal), Damian Bjerketvedt (Heather), Jason Bjerketvedt (Natalie), Adam Bjerketvedt (Rachel), Luke Bjerketvedt (Anna), Travis Bjerketvedt (Allie), Brittany Bjerketvedt, Shannon Wicklund (Gabe), Kayla Lence (Chris), Kody Klimek, Scott Klimek, Shane Klimek, Cassie Hobbs (Jake) and Danielle Hobbs. He is also survived by 37 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
