He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav William and Emma Paulin Jahnke (Jantzen); his wife Etta Jahnke; his grandson Jacob; and his siblings, Alice, Delores and Darold Jahnke.
He is survived by: his children, Charles (Valerie) of Parkers Prairie, Curtis (Jackie) of Alexandria, Daniel (Ginger) of Alaska and Krista Schwering; his grandchildren, Theo, Tristan, Robert, Zakkary (Jasmine), Jonathan, Jordan, Bryan (Nikki), Terra and CJ; and his brother Harlan (Katie). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
