He is survived by: his wife Marlys Ileen Gaarsland (Lukken); his children, Connie Nordlund (Leroy), John Hardekopf (Tiffany), Tammy Larson (Greg) and Dennis Hardekopf; his grandchildren, Todd Gaarsland (Kayla), Ryan Gaarsland (Ann), Nicole Bettermann (Grant), Stephanie Krohnfeldt (Kevin), Joshua Nordlund (Shauna), Samantha Koep (Mark), Dustin Nordlund (Ashlee), Brandon Winger, Paige Hardekopf (Travis Kane), Courtney Hardekopf (Eli Kohorst), Alisha Nustad (Joseph), Graham Larson, Aiden Larson, Caleb Hardekopf (Emily), Hannah Hardekopf, Gavin Hardekopf and Jessah Longbella; his great grandchildren, Kason, Callen Gaarsland, Marvin, Raelynn Betterman, Kelsey, Cole Krohnfeldt, Aria, Allen Nordlund, Parker, Avery Koep, Hayden Winger, Zoey, Emma and Henry Nustad; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Boese (Warren), Sharlene Jorgensen (Gerald), Sandra Tostenson, Kathy Gaynor (Tim), Susan Lukken, James Lukken (Sue) and Jeffrey Lukken (Kay). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
