She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Lukken and Norma Lukken (Hanson); her husbands, Ray and Marvin Hardekopf; her son Timothy Gaarsland; her granddaughter Tonya Gaarsland; her brothers, Leslie Lukken, Norman Lukken and James Lukken; her parents-in-law, Leonard Gaarsland, Elois Ellwanger, John and Emma Hardekopf; and her siblings-in-law, Leonard, Jeanette Hardekopf and David Tostenson.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Nordlund (Leroy), John Hardekopf (Tiffany), Tammy Larson (Greg) and Dennis Hardekopf; her grandchildren, Todd Gaarsland (Kayla), Ryan Gaarsland (Ann), Nicole Bettermann (Grant), Stephanie Krohnfeldt (Kevin), Joshua Nordlund (Shauna), Samantha Koep (Mark), Dustin Nordlund (Ashlee), Brandon Winger, Paige Kane (Travis), Courtney Kohorst (Eli), Alisha Nustad (Joseph), Graham Larson, Aiden Larson, Caleb Hardekopf (Emily), Hannah Hardekopf, Gavin Hardekopf and Jessah Longbella; her great grandchildren, Kason, Callen Gaarsland, Marvin, Raelynn Bettermann, Kelsey, Cole Krohnfeldt, Aria, Allen Nordlund, Parker, Avery Koep, Hayden Winger, Zoey, Emma, Henry Nustad and Kennedy Kane; her siblings, Sharlene Jorgensen (Gerald), Sandra Tostenson, Susan Lukken and Jeffrey Lukken (Kay); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Boese (Warren), Sue Lukken and Kathy Gaynor (Tim). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (709 S Douglas Ave, Parkers Prairie, MN 56361). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Parkers Prairie Cemetery (Minneapolis, MN).
