It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther B. Westad of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on December 2, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Westad and Margareth Westad (Larson); and his former wife Barb Eggert (Jerome). He is survived by: his friend Lori; his wife Lori; his children, Nathan Westad (Laura), Megan Barrows (Kyle) of Parkers Prairie and Shelby Westad (Garrett Greenwood) of Henning; his stepchildren, Keith Eggert (Cassy Schulke) of Motley, Gregg Janson (Kristy) of Ft. Leonard Wood, Andy Janson (Jessica) of Cable, Sara Janson (Brandon Berthiaume) of Glenwood and Peter Janson of Parkers Prairie; his sister Joyce Halverson of New Ulm; and his grandchildren, Tenley, Owen, Ella, Henry Westad, Kennedy, Sawyer, Kolt Barrows, Brynlee Greenwood, Paisley Eggert, Hagen Janson, Brooke, Sadie, Daisy, Wilder Janson, Jaelynn and Eliza Berthiaume. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
