LeRoy H. Klasen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LeRoy H. Klasen of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, born in Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Klasen and Clara Klasen (Huewe); his wife Janet Arfsten; his daughter Roxanne Melberg; his granddaughter Lisa Melberg; and his siblings, Roy, Herbie Klasen, Lucille Wright and Darlene Bitzer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri Klasen, Kim Johnson (Jeff) and Kris Klasen (Joe Waslaski); his son-in-law Dan Melberg; and his grandchildren, Bryce Klasen (Megan), Jeremy Johnson, Jessie Johnson (Tonya), Casey Stone, Josh Klasen and Matt Melberg. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of memorials or flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. William's Living Center Activities Department.
