With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Harvey Carlson of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carlson and Pauline Carlson (Lindquist); his son Justin; his grandson Caleb; his sisters, Evelie, Elaine and Ruth; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Akey and Kathleen Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hemquist; his daughters, Andrea Carlson of Carlos and Amy Jewell (Jon) of Parkers Prairie; his siblings, Wanda Akey of Grand Junction, Judy Pachan (Alex) of Buffalo, Mavonne Nelson of Chaska and Morley Carlson of Miltona; his grandson Cody Rokes (Emmaly) of St. Cloud; his great grandchildren, Harper, Zenna and Kalea; and his pet Missy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Esther Lutheran Church (11019 625th Ave, Parkers Prairie, MN 56361).
