He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Benzinger and Gertrude Benzinger (Becker); his wife Marie Lenarz of Edward's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Herbert Benzinger, Kay Balow, Delores Sakowicz, Rosella Balow, Helen Fromme, Grace Hernandez and Marion Trail.
He is survived by: his sons, Vic Benzinger (Joyce) of Parkers Prairie and Lonnie Benzinger (Nancy) of Parkers Prairie; his granddaughters, Kayla Benzinger, Jenna Benzinger, Alayna Thoennes (Justin), Megan Benzinger, Emily Lund (Adam) and Avery Benzinger; his great grandchildren, Boston, Rafael, Lucina and Jayden; and his sister Elaine Maskal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
