She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Grivois and Verna Grivois (LaBreck); and her brothers, Melton and Larry. She is survived by: her husband Arnie Swipies of Parkers Prairie; her children, Robert Evans of Texas, Timothy Brown of Starbuck and Chandra Evans of Eagle Bend; and her siblings, Loren, Bernice, Norma, Mae Jean and Mary Ann. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; four cats and three dogs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
