He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ambrose Altman and Selma Altman (Behnke); his wife Leicia Halstead; his children, Jamie Altman of Chaska and Julianne Altman of Shenzhen, China; his sister Joyce Benzinger (Vic) of Parkers Prairie; his nieces, Kayla Benzinger, Jenna Benzinger and Alayna Thoennes (Justin); his great-nephews, Rafi and Jayden; his great-niece Lucina; and his mother-in-law Judy Halstead of Elk River.
