Sandra Schultz Hurt wrote a sympathy message

“Saddened to hear of Jim's passing. The last time I saw him was at a bbq cookoff sometime after he retired, living half his time here in TX & in MN. He was a great mentor, very kind & respected in his years of working. I'm glad to have known & worked with him. He often spoke of how proud he was of his son Bradley & sad to see he had passed too. My condolences go out to both family's & may the precious memories sustain you as time goes on.”
