He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kalpin and Vivian Kalpin (Duberowski); his wife Deloris Kalpin; and his siblings, Laverne Kalpin and Floretta Ziegelmann.
He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Riedel; and his close friends, Linda Skoglund and Jetti. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
