He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his sister Evelyn Thon. He is survived by: his children, Susan of Parkers Prairie and Scott of Alexandria, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Jeremy (Giovana) of Dillon, Cody, Jesse, Mason of Alexandria, Minnesota, Megan (Derrick) of Blaine and Kelly of St. Cloud. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
